Stop 2: Tokali Church

The largest rock-cut church in Cappadocia with the finest Byzantine frescoes. The church has two sections: the Old Church (10th century) and the New Church (11th century). Notice the distinctive blue pigment made from lapis lazuli, showing the wealth invested in this sanctuary.
Stop 3: Göreme Open Air Museum Entrance

Welcome to the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This monastery complex was carved between the 10th and 12th centuries. Monks created these rock-cut sanctuaries to worship in safety during periods of persecution. Explore the Apple Church, Snake Church, and Dark Church.
Stop 4: El Nazar Valley View

After exiting the museum, head toward the El Nazar Valley viewpoint. This area showcases the dramatic landscape of fairy chimneys and ancient dwellings carved into every available rock face. The valley was home to early Christian communities.
